Padme: Queen's Shadow - SW Celebration Exclusive

I realize art posts have been light since starting my studio job. Partially just due to being overly cautious with contract stuff, but also because I've been so busy that advertising my services to get MORE WORK is the last thing I need to be spending time on. Last year, though, Lucasfilm reached out to have me paint the Star Wars Celebration special cover for their latest YA novel Padme: Queen's Shadow and there's no way I'm not posting it! I didn't realize Lucasfilm had started publishing their own books in house, but it was great to work directly with them for the first time without going through a licensor. Not that I don't love the RPG stuff, there was just a little extra glitter in the air. This was the first book I did for them, and I'm excited to say that it won't be the last.
